Volleyball is a fast paced net game which needs excellent skill,
endurance speed and stamina from the participant. The game is
both played indoors and outdoors and is a very popular game in
the Western and European countries. |

Our City has been contributing talented Volleyball players from
time time. Sports Hostel (Mysore )has been a regular center for
producing women Volleyball players who have gone on to represent
the state and country in different levels. Players like Mamatha,
Hemalatha, Supriya and Tejashwini Jatti have represented the
state and country. |

The Mysore District Volleyball Association has been
working earnestly to improve the game in the city and to tap
fresh talents. |
