only cider track available in the state. The ground is situated
amidst a good picturesque setting opposite the Crawford Hall. All the major
Athletic events conducted by the Mysore University and the
schools and colleges in our city are held here. The maintenance
of the ground is the responsibility of the Dept. of Physical
Education University of Mysore. |

Stadium: |

Maintained by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at
Chamundivihar Stadium, Mysore. Events such as the Annual Dasara
Sports meet, District, Taluk level sports meets conducted by the
DYSS and DDPI departments will be held in this
multipurpose stadium. A natural turf ground, This stadium is set
under the back drop of Chamundi Hills.A indoor stadium with
facilities for playing indoor games like Table Tennis, Basket
ball, Volley ball, Gymnatics, Hand ball is situvated in the
Chamundivihar Stadium Sports complex. |
